COVID-19

We are delighted to inform our patients that we are open and able to provide a full dental service.

There will be fewer patients in our practice at any given time so that we can maintain strict social distancing measures.

We have implemented enhanced infection control measures in light of the current situation to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Please do not attend the practice unless an appointment has been arranged with one of our receptionists over the telephone.

When a patient arrives at the practice for their appointment, they need to ring the flat bell three times as the front door will be shut. The patient should stand back on the designated markers and wait for a dental nurse to collect them.

Each patient will have their temperature checked on arrival and their hands will be sanitised.

Patients will need to fill out an NHS form, a new medical history form and a COVID-19 questionnaire.

Patients are to bring their own pens if possible, otherwise, they will be given a disposable pen to use.

Patients will be required to pay before going into the surgery by contactless card payment.

The toilets and car park are not in use for the time being.

Patients are advised to leave bags/belongings at home if possible.

Our receptionist will explain the new procedures when patients are contacted by telephone pre-appointment.

Our dental team will be wearing more advanced personal protective equipment.

Although we are still operating at a reduced capacity, we would like to encourage our patients to ring the practice to arrange an appointment, especially if it has been a while since their last dental and oral health examination.
