Dr Daniel Bruce BDS (Aberdeen) BSc Hons (Liverpool)
GDC no: 264296
Daniel grew up locally in Liverpool and completed his first degree there too in Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool, where he graduated with Honours. He had always wanted to be a dentist though and continued to further his education this time in Aberdeen where he completed his BDS in Dental Surgery in 2016. This is where Daniel and Luke's friendship first began, studying together in 2012.
Daniel's first job post qualification was at Balls Road Dental Practice, under our predecessors Nigel and Jane St John, where he completed his dental foundation training year.
Daniel then moved on and worked in Liverpool from 2017-2022 mainly treating NHS patients but has furthered his private dental treatment skillset by completing a Contemporary Restorative Dentistry Course through Smart Dental with renowned clinician and mentor Dr Matthew Holyoak, the Nuvola Invisible Braces system with Dr Marco Roy and a Facial Aesthetic course by Dr Tim Eldridge of myFACE in Cheltenham. The latter two is something Daniel is very keen to bring to Balls Road Dental Practice more and more in the future so watch this space!
Outside of work, Daniel's stress levels are tested to the max with the trials and tribulations of being a huge Liverpool FC fan. He likes to keep fit, play football and is a massive movie nerd!

Luke enjoys all aspects of Dentistry but in the future would like to further his knowledge by completing a course in Restorative Dentistry as well as an orthodontic aligner course to broaden the treatment options available at this practice for patients to improve their smiles.
In Luke's spare time he enjoys going to the gym, playing 5 a side football and spending time with his family from Kent - where he grew up - and Cumbria.
